Biography
Tom Ridderbeekx (1993) is part of a generation of young and exiting jazz musicians in the Netherlands. After being born and raised in Maastricht he attended some of the world’s renowned conservatories in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Berlin and Philadelphia. Tom is known for his lyrical improvising, his specific sound and his songs that will stick with you for a long time.

Tom's professional career started at a very early age of 13 and he made his debut at the North Sea Festival at an age of 18. Through the years he developed as a trumpeter, composer, arranger and teacher. Nowadays Tom is a popular musician and chances are high you have seen or heard him play in one of the many bands he is a member of. New York Round Midnight, Coal Harbour, De Raad van Toezicht, Red Light Jazz Society, NONA, Dennis van Aarssen, Michiel Stekelenburg and The King Swings are all making use of the qualities of this exciting young talent.

Through the years following he played in many bands and shared the stage with many famous artists including the Dutch National Youth Orchestra, New Cool Collective, Matt Bianco, the Dutch Royal Navy, Shirma Rouse, Re:Freshed Orchestra, Sabrina Starke, Ben van den Dungen, Ilja Reijngoud and many more. Tom toured through Colombia, South-Africa, Thailand, India, the USA and all over Europe.
